Requesting a commission

Contact me with details about the commission. This includes chosen tier. (I offer Tier 1 and Tier 2 with different prices)
If I accept your commission, I will send you a price.
Once you have paid before the sketch, I will add you to the queue, and I will begin work on your commission when I'll reach it in the queue.
I will make a rough preview sketch, you may then approve or decline the sketch. (If declined, I will make up to 2 more free rough sketches (3 in total) to find the one that you like. After this, each sketch will cost +$5 USD each depending on complexity.

I will share progress shots with you during the work process.
If you have any concerns with any of the WIP(s), please let me know as soon as possible.
I may message you with questions about your commission while working on it if I am curious. Please try to respond as soon as possible.
If you plan to not be available to respond to questions, please let me know beforehand.
PayPal is currently the only method in which I am accepting payment.

General Terms of Service

I reserve the right to deny any commission for any reason.
Breaking terms of service will result in the cancellation of the commission, without issuing a refund and/or a WIP/finished picture(s).

You must be a legal adult in your area of residence to commission me. If you are younger than 18 and you want to commission me, please let your parents or guardians know so they can do it for you.
I will only do up to 3 free watermarked rough sketches as said above. If none of these are approved by you, any further sketches will cost a fee.
I MUST receive payment after I accept your commission.
Payment for your commission MUST be sent through the invoice that I send you through PayPal. Please do not send me any money before receiving your invoice.
Payment must be made in full within 48 hours of receiving the invoice. If you do not send the payment by then, I will assume the commission to be cancelled.
All prices are in USD (United States Dollar) and payments are to be made via PayPal.
PayPal fees and sales tax are not included on the base price for any commission. Additional PayPal fees might be added to the final price (this will be discussed with the commissioner when agreeing on the final price).

I retain the right to reproduce, publish, display (publicly or otherwise), perform (publicly or otherwise), distribute, transmit, modify, adapt, and create derivative works of any commissions I make. The commissioner retains all rights to the character(s) or design(s) depicted (These permissions are mainly for promotional purposes, but it’s also to cover myself legally in all aspects).

Process

You receive three free edits during the sketch stage, two during the painting stage, and one after the commission is finished.
I will send you a watermarked image of the final version of the commission, which you may then approve of, or request edits on.
Once approved, I will not make any further free edits on the commission. (I may still do edits for a fee if I choose, but it is not guaranteed.)
Once approved, you may not request any refunds.
Additionally, edits will cost +$5 depending on complexity.

Requested Rush or Deadlines

As of right now, I cannot do any rush work or custom deadlines. I am still a senior in high school, but I may consider allowing you to submit a custom rush or deadline once I graduate next year. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel the commission at any time for any reason. If you cancel before I start, I will issue a full refund. If you cancel after I have already started, I will issue a partial refund equivalent to the amount of work unfinished at the time of cancellation, and send you an unwatermarked file of the work in progress. I will not issue a refund after the commission is finished.

I may cancel any commission at any time for any reason, in which case I will issue a full refund. If I cancel a commission after I start working on it, you will not receive the unwatermarked file. In some cases, I may give you the option to choose a partial refund instead for the unwatermarked file, otherwise, I reserve the right to reuse any unfinished files.

If you do not approve or request edits within 28 days of receiving the completed commission, I will assume that you have no issues and will send you the final unwatermarked image. At this point, you may not request any more free edits or refunds.

If I do not contact you, attempt to contact you, or produce any progress for longer than 3 months during the commission (without previously getting your agreement to wait while I was out of contact/unable to work), you are entitled to a full refund, no matter how much work has been done. If you can't contact me for the refund, feel free to complete the dispute process with PayPal. You have 180 days from the time of payment to do so if necessary. In this case I would reserve the right to reuse any artwork made for your commission after you have been refunded, unless negotiated otherwise.

This TOS does not cover work-for-hire. I retain the copyright to all of my images.

You may not use my work for any commercial means. I reserve the right to not sell my copyrights for any reason.

I will post a completed commission(s) online from your permission. I will credit your personal characters unless you request otherwise.

You may only commission me a personal character that you have created. Commissioning me a character you do not own whatsoever is prohibited.

By commissioning me, you are paying for the service of me drawing your idea/character. You are not receiving any physical goods. I will email you a full-size *.png of the completed work. You can post your completed commission as long as you give credit by linking to my page. I can revoke that permission in cases of harassment.

Do not use any of my files commercially/for profit in any way. My signature and/or watermark, if present, must remain visible on the piece at all times. Attempted removal of the signature and/or watermark will be counted as theft. Do not repost any sketches/WIPs that I send you without my permission. Do not make any edits or have someone else edit any files I send you, including WIPs, without my permission. This includes cropping. Do not watermark the images I send you. If you want your name added onto the commission, ask me and I can add it to my own signature. You may print out your commission for personal use (to hang on your wall, etc.) as long as you do not sell the print(s).

I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
